Weblog: virtues of a korean tranny bastard in the spotlight "It bothers me that you're the first well-adjusted, well-mannered transgender person that I've ever met or observed."

Name: Trandy Hong Gender: Female Birthday: April 15, 1985 (Age: 23) Location: New York City, New York, United States
About Me I'm a transgender female that I was born in Seoul and adopted by my Pentecostal family. After more than 150 years, my family recently made the decision to break ties with the Republican Party and become Democrats. I was raised in the upper class suburban Town of Bethlehem that’s overwhelmingly Republican. I work for a national media watchdog. I serve on two boards of directors and preside as President for one. While I have occasionally published my work in magazines and newspapers, I've begun to research and author my first book.
I don't mind donning a dress from Saks for a formal gala or benefit. I'm just more prone to catch a late night movie at Battery Park or Court Street theaters in my scrubs. I’ve recently discovered the restaurant called Jane in Soho and they have a beautiful Sunday brunch where I recommend the Vanilla Bean French Toast that’s accompanied by either the Raspberry Champagne or the Mimosa Cosmo. While I was raised a Yank, I fulfill my desire for Southern Comfort by visiting Lazy Catfish in Williamsburg for fried chicken, collard greens and corn bread stuffing. I like vintage shops just as much as the boutiques and flagship stores that line Fifth Ave. Carolina Herrera, Oscar De La Renta, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Balenciaga, Vera Wang, Prada and Donna Karan are a few of my regular favorites. Though I enjoy a night out on the town, I’ve instead grown to love hosting intimate dinner parties with my friends. I love to eat and have begun to experiment in the kitchen with recent success in making homemade fruit jams and marmalades. I love buying magazines and my regular staples include Town & Country, New York Magazine and Foreign Affairs. I absolutely adore Kennedy, my adopted American Pit Bull Terrier that I found roaming the streets as I was coming home from the airport after a long work trip. I've only fallen in love once and I hope for it to happen again.
